My grandma made the pants for us when we were babies. I like to believe that I wore this pair when I was that small. Even if I didn't, I know my nephews and niece did wear it. The very fact that Carmen is wearing her great grandma's handywork 13 years after she passed away is something isn't it? I always think of her when I see these pants. I am actually wearing a pair that was made for my Dad but he never wore them. Made from the same piece of cloth but of course the colors are much more vibrant because it was never used. I miss my Ah Ma.
